Social Media Management for Dubai & UAE Brands — Run by WWV's In-House Studio
Last updated 2026-10-02
WWV (Worldwide Vendor) is a social media agency in Dubai that runs Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat accounts for UAE brands on a monthly retainer. UAE clients contract with WWV's registered UAE company, while the strategy, photography, film, editing, design and community management are produced by WWV's own crew at the New Cairo studio. Nothing is subcontracted to freelancers or production houses.

Social media management for UAE brands, produced in house
This is for a brand in Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Sharjah that wants an account run day to day — planned, shot, written, published, moderated and reported on every month — rather than a single campaign handed over and abandoned. Most WWV clients are on a monthly retainer for exactly that reason.
The structural fact matters more than any claim about creativity. Two things sit in two places on purpose:
- The commercial relationship is in the UAE. You contract with WWV's registered company in the United Arab Emirates.
- The production is in house in Cairo. A studio, a crew, editors, designers, copywriters and media buyers on staff at Arabella Plaza, New Cairo. The idea written into the strategy is the idea WWV's own crew shoots and edits.
WWV runs 16 brands day to day across healthcare, tourism, fashion, food and professional services, including Beautify Clinic, Fit Oat, Golden Gulf, Best Egypt Holidays, MZ Abayas, Salemeen Clinic, Sanad Consult and Shino Tours.
What a WWV social media retainer includes
A WWV retainer covers strategy, content production, publishing, community management, paid amplification and monthly reporting — all delivered by the same team. Here is the scope, line by line.
Strategy and monthly content plan
A positioning and channel strategy at the start of the engagement, then a content plan every month: themes, formats, posting cadence, platform mix and the campaign hooks for the month. The plan is written before anything is shot, and the shoot list comes out of it.
Content production: photography, video, design
Stills, vertical video, reels and short-form edits, plus design for static and carousel posts. All of it is produced by WWV's own crew, under the same roof as the strategy. No freelance videographer briefed by email, no stock-led filler, no third-party production company between the idea and the footage.
Publishing and community management
Scheduling and publishing across the agreed platforms, plus replies to comments and direct messages, and comment moderation. Replies happen in the language the follower used — Arabic or English.
Paid amplification on Meta, TikTok, Google and Snapchat
Paid campaigns run on Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google, TikTok and Snapchat. Snapchat is named deliberately: it carries reach in the Gulf that most Western-written agency pages leave out of the plan entirely. Media buying is run by the same in-house team that made the creative, so the ad that runs is the ad that was designed to run. More detail on media buying and paid ads management in Dubai.
Monthly reporting and spend reconciliation
Budget, spend, reach and cost per result are reconciled and shown to the client every month. In practice that means you see the platform spend itself — CPM, CPC, cost per result and where the budget went — not a single bundled agency invoice with "media" written on one line.
What is not included
Scope is only credible if the exclusions are stated. Paid media budget and influencer fees sit outside the retainer and are handled separately.
How the month actually runs
A WWV retainer month runs in a fixed sequence: strategy and plan, shoot, edit, load to the Wieldy client portal, client review and approval, schedule and publish, community management throughout, then a month-end report with spend reconciled. The point of publishing the sequence is simple — a buyer who can picture the month can sign for it.
| Stage | When in the month | What happens | Who acts |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strategy and content plan | Days 1–2 | Monthly themes, formats, platform mix and shoot list agreed | WWV, then client sign-off |
| Shoot | Days 3–8 | Photography and video produced by WWV's own crew | WWV |
| Edit and design | Days 9–12 | Edits, captions in Arabic and English, static and carousel design | WWV |
| Portal review | Days 9–14 | Content and calendar loaded to the Wieldy portal for review | Client |
| Approve, schedule, publish | From approval | Nothing goes live until it is approved in the portal | Client approves, WWV publishes |
| Community management | Continuous | Comments, DMs and moderation, in the follower's language | WWV |
| Report and reconcile | Month end | Spend, reach, cost per result reconciled against budget | WWV |
A one-month timeline strip is a useful visual for this section; the table above carries the same information in text so it can be read by screen readers and quoted directly.
The Wieldy client portal
Every WWV client gets a portal. It runs on Wieldy, the agency platform WWV uses to run the studio. Log in and you see the month's content calendar, each piece of content in its finished form, its scheduled date, and a control to approve it or send it back with comments.
Nothing publishes without client sign-off in the portal. If you have been burned by an agency posting off-brand, that is the line that matters.
When the team is reachable
WWV works Sunday to Friday, 08:00 to 18:00 Cairo time. Cairo is one hour behind the UAE for most of the year, so the team is at desks from roughly 09:00 to 19:00 Gulf time, across a Sunday-to-Friday week that overlaps the UAE working week almost entirely. Monday to Thursday, there is no coordination problem to solve.
Why a Dubai brand works with a Cairo studio through a UAE company
Because the contract is local and the production is owned rather than bought. That is the whole answer, and it is worth saying before a procurement lead has to ask.
1. The contracting entity is in the UAE. Gulf clients contract with WWV's registered company in the United Arab Emirates. The commercial relationship, the agreement and the invoicing sit in the Emirates.
2. Production is in house in Cairo. WWV employs the crew, the editors, the designers and the media buyers. The alternative model — a Dubai account manager briefing freelance videographers and photographers per project — carries a margin on every booking and a Dubai studio day rate underneath it. Owning production instead of buying it is where the price difference comes from. There is no clever trick beneath it.
3. Capacity, not a freelancer's diary. The same team runs 16 brands day to day. A shoot is scheduled against an in-house crew's calendar, not against whoever is free that week.
On price: the saving is structural, from owning production rather than buying it project by project. We are not quoting a figure here, because a number without a scope attached is meaningless — talk to the team directly for a quote against your own scope.
Do you shoot in the UAE?
Production is based at the Cairo studio, and WWV's UAE company handles the contracting relationship for Gulf clients. If a shoot needs to happen on location in Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Sharjah, that is worth raising directly with the team on the account review call, so it can be scoped against your specific brief.
The roster, as evidence of range
Eight of the brands WWV runs, and what each one demonstrates:
| Client | Sector | What it shows |
|---|---|---|
| Beautify Clinic | Healthcare | Regulated aesthetic and clinical content |
| Salemeen Clinic | Healthcare | A second clinical account run in parallel |
| Golden Gulf | Professional services | Gulf-facing brand communication |
| Best Egypt Holidays | Tourism | Destination content and seasonal demand |
| Shino Tours | Tourism | Travel sales content and enquiry handling |
| MZ Abayas | Fashion | Modest fashion, product-led visual output |
| Fit Oat | Food | FMCG product content and launch work |
| Sanad Consult | Professional services | B2B positioning and lead-focused content |
Arabic and English, written for the Gulf — not translated
WWV writes Arabic from scratch for the market. English copy is not run through a translator and posted. That is a standing rule, not a premium add-on.
It matters because dialect is not decoration. Egyptian-dialect social copy reads as foreign to a Gulf audience, and the references, humour and tone that land in Cairo do not transfer to Dubai or Riyadh. Tone, dialect and reference points are chosen per market before the first caption is written.
The rule applies across the whole account, not just posts: captions, ad copy, community replies and comment moderation all happen in the language the follower used. If someone comments in Arabic, they get an Arabic reply from someone who writes Arabic. See also: وكالة تسويق رقمي في دبي والإمارات.
Which platforms we run, and how we choose
The platform mix is decided in the strategy stage at the start of the engagement, from where the brand's buyers actually are, not from a default package. The same decision is revisited in the monthly plan.
Instagram and TikTok
The core pair for consumer brands in the UAE — clinics, fashion, food, travel. WWV produces vertical video, reels, stills and carousels for both, from the same shoot. TikTok rewards volume and native editing; Instagram rewards a consistent grid and reels that survive being saved and shared. WWV runs its own accounts on both as a working sample: @wwvagency on Instagram and TikTok, plus Facebook.
Snapchat
Worth real attention in the Gulf, and routinely skipped by agency pages written for Western markets. Snapchat reaches an audience that does not behave the same way on Instagram, and WWV runs paid campaigns on it as one of its four ad platforms. Suits consumer brands with a local, younger Gulf audience — food, retail, entertainment, clinics running offers.
LinkedIn and other platforms where the brief calls for it
For B2B and professional services — consultancies, contractors, clinics selling to corporates — the work looks different: fewer posts, stronger writing, founder and executive content rather than branded graphics. Sanad Consult is the roster example of this kind of account. Beyond the core paid platforms, channel choice is set per brand in the strategy stage rather than applied as a default package.
What it costs and how to start
A monthly retainer is the standard engagement. That is deliberate: the value of this work is in running the account day to day — planning, shooting, publishing, replying, optimising spend — not in delivering one campaign and leaving.
Pricing is scoped per brand on the account review call, since the entry point depends on platform mix, shoot frequency and market. Every Dubai competitor on page one hides pricing completely, so even a direct conversation about scope and cost upfront is, on its own, a differentiator.
The first 14 days of a new account
| Days | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1–2 | Discovery call: objectives, audience, markets, languages, offers |
| 3–5 | Access and brand audit — existing accounts, ad accounts, assets, past performance |
| 6–10 | Strategy and first monthly content plan delivered for approval |
| 11–14 | First shoot booked and scheduled; Wieldy portal set up with your calendar |
Then the monthly cycle described above begins.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a social media agency in Dubai cost per month?
Dubai social media retainers are almost never published, so a comparison has to be built from quotes. WWV charges a monthly retainer rather than per campaign, because the account is run day to day. Pricing is scoped on the account review call against your platform mix and shoot frequency. Paid media budget sits outside the retainer and is reconciled separately each month.
What is included in a social media management retainer?
With WWV: strategy and a monthly content plan, content production (photography, video, design) by the in-house Cairo crew, publishing, community management in Arabic and English, paid campaigns on Meta, Google, TikTok and Snapchat, and a monthly report reconciling budget, spend, reach and cost per result. Media budget and influencer fees are separate.
Do I approve content before it is posted?
Yes. Every client gets a portal running on Wieldy, where the month's content and calendar are loaded for review. You approve each item or send it back with comments. Nothing publishes without client sign-off in the portal — that applies to organic posts and to paid creative.
Can a Dubai company contract with WWV locally if the team is in Cairo?
Yes. Gulf clients contract with WWV's registered company in the United Arab Emirates, so the agreement and the commercial relationship are local. Production, crew, editing and media buying are delivered by WWV's own team at the New Cairo studio at Arabella Plaza. Nothing is subcontracted. More on this model: Digital Marketing Agency in Dubai — UAE Contract, Cairo Studio, Nothing Subcontracted.
Do you write Arabic content for the Gulf or translate it from English?
Written from scratch for the market, never translated. Egyptian-dialect copy does not land with a Gulf audience, so tone, dialect and reference points are set per market before any caption is written. Captions, ad copy, community replies and comment moderation all happen in the language the follower used.
Which platforms should a UAE brand be on — is Snapchat still worth it?
The mix is decided in the strategy stage, from where your buyers actually are. For most UAE consumer brands the core is Instagram and TikTok; for B2B it leans more on LinkedIn-style content. Snapchat remains worth real budget in the Gulf and is one of WWV's four paid platforms alongside Meta, Google and TikTok.
Who owns the content, accounts and ad account access?
This is a standard procurement question in the UAE, and it's one worth raising directly on the account review call so it can be answered against your specific contract and account setup, rather than with a generic page answer.
