E-commerce Marketing Support for UAE and Gulf Online Brands

E-commerce marketing support for brands selling online in the Gulf

WWV Marketing supplies the continuous content and paid media an online store consumes every month: product and lifestyle photography, short-form vertical video, social content and community management, paid campaigns on Meta, Google, TikTok and Snapchat, and the marketing strategy that decides what gets made. Gulf clients contract with Worldwide Vendor F.Z.E, WWV's registered company in the United Arab Emirates, while strategy, content, film, photography and media buying are produced in house by WWV's own studio and crew at Arabella Plaza, New Cairo. Nothing is subcontracted.

That is the whole commercial argument for e-commerce marketing support from WWV. A Dubai retail brand gets a UAE contracting party and a Gulf phone line, over a production cost base and an owned studio that a local agency buying freelance crew cannot match.

Dubai line: +971 55 693 6219 (call and WhatsApp). Email: info@wwv-eg.com. Sunday to Friday, 08:00–18:00 Cairo time, which is 09:00–19:00 Gulf Standard Time.

One boundary before anything else: WWV does not build, develop or redesign online stores. The work starts once the store exists.

What does an online store actually need each month?

An online store needs a supply line, not a campaign. Every new arrival needs shooting. The social calendar needs filling whether or not there is a launch. Ad creative needs replacing before fatigue sets in. And the month needs reconciling against what was spent. A campaign model delivers a burst and leaves; a retail brand is still selling on the 29th.

For a fashion, beauty, supplement or clinic-retail brand in the Gulf Cooperation Council market, that recurring supply usually means:

For most direct-to-consumer brands the constraint on paid performance is creative volume, not budget. Audiences see the same three assets, response drops, and the only fix is new assets. An agency that cannot shoot cannot refresh — it can only re-target. WWV shoots.

Because strategy, shoot, edit and media buying all sit inside one team, the idea in the strategy is the idea that gets shot and published. No brief degrades on the way from a strategy shop to a production house to a media agency.

Which ad platforms does WWV run for online retail brands?

WWV runs paid campaigns on Meta, Google, TikTok and Snapchat. Across Gulf retail, Meta and TikTok tend to carry discovery and creative-led demand, Snapchat carries younger reach in the GCC, and Google carries intent from people already searching for the product or the brand. Which mix suits your store is a question of category and margin, and it is decided at strategy, not assumed here.

Reporting is a fixed commitment: budget, spend, reach and cost per result are reconciled and shown to the client every month. For a retailer that matters more than an impressions total — you see what each dirham of spend returned per result, month by month, and you can argue with it.

Two honest limits. Share of voice is not measured and is not a reporting deliverable. And catalogue or feed-driven ad formats depend on how your store, product feed and pixel are already set up; WWV works with what the platform is fed — the detail of feed and pixel configuration is a scoping conversation, not a fixed line item here.

WWV does not promise a return on ad spend figure and does not guarantee performance.

Is the Arabic copy translated from English?

No. Arabic copy at WWV is written for the market from scratch, never translated from English. For an online store that means product descriptions, ad copy, captions and community replies exist as two native sets of writing, not one set and its shadow.

Arabic written for a Gulf reader is Modern Standard Arabic. A Gulf shopper reading Egyptian colloquial on a UAE brand's ad draws a conclusion about the brand before reading the offer. Egyptian colloquial is correct for Egyptian audiences, and WWV writes that too — it is simply the wrong register for Dubai, Riyadh, Doha or Kuwait City.

Language versions are one of the things that drives scope. Two languages across captions, ad variants and on-screen text is more work than one, and it is priced as such.

Does WWV shoot product photography in Dubai, or does everything happen in Cairo?

Both. WWV owns its production kit — camera bodies, lenses, lighting and grip are owned, not rented — and the kit travels with WWV's own crew. WWV files UAE filming permits directly rather than going through a local fixer.

The practical consequence for a retail brand: a shoot can be mounted on location in Dubai or in the New Cairo studio using the same crew and the same kit. The look holds across a year of drops instead of drifting every time a different freelance photographer is booked.

Who owns the product photos and videos after delivery?

You do. The client owns the final deliverables outright on delivery, with no further licence fee. Raw rushes, edit timelines and project files stay with WWV by default and are handed over on request.

Talent is different and worth reading twice if you run ads for months. Talent usage carries the term, territory and media agreed with the cast member. It is scoped per project and never open-ended. If you intend to run a model-led asset on paid media for a full season, that has to be agreed in the usage terms at booking — not discovered afterwards.

How do I review and approve content before it goes live?

Through the client portal. Every WWV client gets a portal to see their content and calendar and to review and approve work. It runs on Wieldy, the agency platform WWV uses to run the studio.

This is the operating layer, not a feature. Drop dates move. When approvals live in a WhatsApp thread, the asset that missed the launch is always the one someone approved in a message nobody saw. In the portal the calendar, the asset and the approval are the same record.

Response hours are Sunday to Friday, 08:00–18:00 Cairo time (09:00–19:00 Gulf Standard Time). There is no out-of-hours or weekend cover and no after-hours escalation contact. If a 2am launch-night response matters to your business, that is worth knowing before you sign, not after.

How much does e-commerce marketing support cost?

WWV does not publish figures. The band is given on request against your scope. What is fixed is the structure, and there are three shapes it takes:

Commercial shape What it suits How it works
Day rate Film and photography with a known shoot requirement Priced per shoot day with crew and owned kit
Project fee A defined deliverable set, such as a single collection launch Fixed against an agreed brief and deliverable list
Monthly retainer Continuous supply for a live store WWV runs the account day to day — how most WWV clients are engaged

What moves an e-commerce quote up or down: number of shoot days; number of locations and whether UAE filming permits are required; studio versus location; talent booked and the usage term, territory and media agreed; number of SKUs or looks; language versions; the number of aspect ratios and platform cuts required; and the level of ongoing paid media management.

There are no standard packages. Counts and schedule are agreed per project against your brief. A retainer suits most online stores because supply is continuous rather than seasonal — it means WWV runs the account month after month instead of delivering one campaign and leaving.

Which retail brands does WWV already run?

WWV runs 16 brands day to day from the New Cairo studio, across healthcare, tourism, fashion, food and professional services. On the retail side that includes MZ Abayas in fashion and Fit Oat in food, with Beautify Clinic and Salemeen Clinic as examples of clinic retail content, and Golden Gulf among the Gulf-facing accounts. Most clients are on a monthly retainer.

You can see the retail and fashion work rather than take a description of it. The studio and crew in New Cairo are the same team on every account — WWV attributes work to the team, not to individuals, because who sits on an account changes and the studio does not.

What does WWV not do?

WWV does not build, develop or redesign online stores, and WWV does not sell SEO. If you need a Shopify build, a replatform or a search programme, have that conversation elsewhere — and have it before you brief content, because the store has to exist before the supply line is worth starting.

The boundary is all seven services WWV delivers in house:

  1. Social media management
  2. Media buying and paid ads
  3. Content creation
  4. Videography and photography
  5. Event management and activations
  6. Public relations
  7. E-commerce support

Within the UAE, WWV has not handled regulator approval processes directly. Where your category requires approval — clinic or supplement claims, for example — WWV will advise you to confirm requirements with the relevant UAE authority before anything runs.

Frequently asked questions

Can WWV handle all the content an online store needs every month, or just one campaign?

Both are possible, but continuous supply is the model most online stores take. A monthly retainer covers shooting new arrivals, filling the content calendar, refreshing ad creative and reconciling spend, month after month. A one-off project fee suits a single defined piece of work such as a collection launch.

Do Gulf clients contract with a UAE company or with the Egyptian office?

Gulf clients contract with Worldwide Vendor F.Z.E, WWV's registered company in the United Arab Emirates. Strategy, content, film, photography, media buying and events are then produced in house by WWV's own studio and crew in New Cairo. Nothing is subcontracted to third parties.

Does WWV do SEO for e-commerce sites?

No. SEO, web development and store builds sit outside WWV's seven in-house services. WWV supplies content, creative, social and paid media for a store that already exists.

How long can we keep running ads with a model in them?

For the term, territory and media agreed with that cast member at booking. Talent usage is scoped per project and is never open-ended. If you plan to run a model-led asset across a full season of paid media, say so at scoping so the usage is bought for that period.

What are WWV's response hours, and is there cover at weekends or out of hours?

Sunday to Friday, 08:00–18:00 Cairo time, which is 09:00–19:00 Gulf Standard Time. There is no out-of-hours, weekend or 24/7 cover and no after-hours escalation contact. Urgent items raised outside those hours are picked up at the start of the next working day.
